Our Story

Portsmouth Cycle Exchange orginally started in the 1980's in Southsea, Portsmouth Hampshire England.


Father and son then relocated to Victoria Road, North (Portsmouth Cycle Exchange where we are today)

Est 1982

Over the years Portsmouth Cycle Exchange has had a number of shops and partnerships. We have even had our own wholesale company Harris Wholesale.


We have imported, designed and had bicycles manufactured to retail through our bicycle shops.

Falcon cycles created the ice cool mountain bike and the defiant in the 1980's

Under our Velopy brand the Velopy sunflower was made in 2014
